Pixelization

Pixels are micro squares that are parts of digital (scanning) image, they are sorts of elementary particles of digital photography. In customary photos pixels aren’t seen by a viewer, and their visibility characterizes a photo like low-quality one. But it is a matter of a digital image, a “material” of a photo. We are interested in the enlarged with the help of a microscope parts of a human body not less than in the body in general, and maybe even more. They are hidden for an unaided eye, and they possess kind of a secret, a mysterious vital force. In my photo project “Pixelization” I “put the pixels under a microscope”, developed elementary particles of digital image. Pixelization was based on the destruction of images of real objects. The results of this destruction are new pixel worlds and their parts – new pixel forms.
